How to Brief an Announcement Graphic
A practical Announcement-template workflow for separating approved facts, visual direction, and final review.
The Announcement template turns a small set of approved facts into a structured image brief. It does not verify those facts or guarantee that generated text is accurate.
Synthetic example: The company, funding event, investor, expansion, and growth figures below are invented teaching data. They are not ImageLayer results or customer evidence.
How to Use the Announcement Preset
Use the Announcement content type with three fields:
- Headline: “We Just Raised $25M in Series B”
- Key Details: “Led by Sequoia Capital. Expanding to 3 new markets in Europe and Asia. 200% team growth planned.”
- Additional notes: “Modern dark charcoal background with soft organic mesh gradient blobs in muted violet, deep teal, and warm indigo. Scattered gold and silver metallic confetti.”
The notes field describes visual direction. Avoid naming another company as a style target; specify palette, lighting, materials, and composition instead.
Synthetic output for workflow illustration. Verify every name, number, date, and logo before publication.
What Announcements Work Best
This preset handles any moment worth sharing:
- Funding rounds: Series A, B, C – make the number and the lead investor impossible to miss
- Product launches: New feature, new product line, major release
- Milestones: Only figures that your team has verified and approved for publication
- Expansion: New offices, new markets, new partnerships
- Hiring: “We’re hiring” campaigns that look polished and intentional
Review before publishing
- Compare the rendered headline and details with the approved source.
- Check names, dates, currency, punctuation, and capitalization character by character.
- Confirm that logos, investor names, partnership claims, and financial figures are authorized.
- Generate separate sizes with the intended platform preset, then inspect each crop.
Announce Like You Mean It
